Northeast Georgia Council's 2012 Summer Camp Programs

You can not take the outing out of Scouting. The outdoor program is the feature about Scouting that appeals to boys, and a week at summer camp is a mountaintop, lakefront, and high adventure experience. Let us show you why the Northeast Georgia Council camps are the camps you want to experience.

NOW HIRING! - STAFF INTERVIEWS 2012

Scoutmasters,

2011 has been a great year in Scouting in the Northeast Georgia Council!

Camp Rainey Mountain benefitted from many property improvements as a result of special gifts and our units’ efforts with the Trails End Popcorn sale! The Properties and the Camping committees are reviewing our needs for the 2012 season and we will begin our repairs and upgrades soon. Great camps have great staffs! Also, around the corner is our camp staff interviews!

NOW HIRING! - STAFF INTERVIEWS 2012

Send us your Best and your Brightest! We want you to encourage those Scouts (the ones that you would want your younger Scouts learning from) to apply to work at our camps next summer. We will hire approximately 150 seasonal employees for Scoutland and Camp Rainey Mountain, nearly half of which are under 18 years of age. We are also interested in college students, teachers, or retired adults.

Interview Schedule:
March 17 – Camp Rainey Mountain @ OA Spring Fellowship (8 pm – 10 pm)

  • These interviews are first come first served.
  • Dates are subject to change without notice. Call the Scout Service Center in Jefferson at 800 699 8806 x106, Monday thru Friday from 10 am - 5 pm.
  • Applicants should attend the earliest possible session for the best opportunity.
  • Scouts should bring a completed application and Scouting resume with them to the interview. Applications must have all required signatures before being submitted.

We have the 2012 Staff application for your review. The form is also available on the summer camps page of our website.

Thank you for making our camps the best!

Yours in Scouting,
Brian Parker
Program Director
